PROJECT DESCRIPTION
I designed a commemorative banner honoring the Austin Police Department Homicide Unit's historic 100% homicide clearance rate for 2023. The department's first since 2005.
The banner was later adapted into acrylic recognition plaques for members of the unit.

DESIGN APPROACH
Drawing from the City of Austin's established typography and badge design, the banner feels consistent with the department's visual identity. The shield layout balances ceremonial impact with the practical need to display dozens of names clearly.
