RENT
30TH ANNIVERSARY REMOUNT

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
A conceptual rebrand of RENT across print and social media assets for Ensemble Theatre of Chattanooga.
A reinterpretation of the iconic musical through the visual language of protest. Bold typography,
a limited palette, and a crowd of raised hands emphasize the show's themes of activism, community, and resistance.

INSPIRATION + PROCESS
Drawing from brutalist-style posters like the work of political satirist Pig Meat, and newsprint textures, RENT is reimagined in a raw, punk-inspired visual language.
The show's enduring image of collective resilience against displacement and institutional neglect is distilled into its essential elements, allowing the crowd to become both the structure and an abstract stand-in for its characters.
